What should I expect to happen once I place an online order?
Once you submit your order, we will email you confirming that we have received your order. We will email you a second time notifying you that your order has been shipped from our fulfillment center.
When I add a product to my shopping bag, nothing happens?
Certain transactions on our site may result in a pop-up page being displayed. If you click on the “Add to Bag” button and nothing appears to happen, you probably have a pop-up blocker preventing the next page from showing. When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card is charged when the merchandise ships from our fulfillment center. Back orders are not charged until the merchandise ships.

Yes. Most albums can be personalized on both the cover and the spine. Cover stamping can be 1, 2 or 3 lines, up to 20 characters/spaces per line. Stamping on matching self-adhesive spine patches can be 1-2 lines up to 7 characters per line. You can order patches separately for albums you already own. Allow 5 days for in-house processing when ordering personalized items. Please see individual items for availability.
Once I place an order for a custom photo item, how do I get the photo to you?
Send us your color or black-and-white print. Photos that are 2-1/2 x 3" to 8 x 10" are best. Use clean sheets of paper to separate and protect photos. If possible, send separate photo for each product. Indicate the product you would like on the back of photo. No copyrighted photos. Please be sure to include the ORDER NUMBER with the photo. (The order number is provided on the final page of check out.) PLEASE NOTE: Photo must be received to process your entire order. We reserve the right to use discretion for all photo reproductions. If I order a personalized product and nonpersonalized product, will I receive all merchandise in the same order or in multiple shipments?
All in-stock merchandise will ship together. If your order contains personalized and nonpersonalized products, the in-stock merchandise will ship together.
Can I send in a photo copy of an original photo for the photo items?
This is not recommended as the reproduction on the item would be of very poor quality.
For items requiring me to send in a photo, will my original photo be returned to me?
Yes, your photo will be returned with order. We do suggest attaching an address label to the back of your photo for additional security.
After I've typed in the personalization for a product, how do I review it to make sure it is correct?
You can review when you are on the Shopping bag page. At the end of the description of your personalized product the personalization is indicated with a YES. Click on it to review your personalization. If the personalization is incorrect, delete the product from your shopping bag and add it again to your shopping bag with the correct personalization.

We can only do upper case lettering on our albums at this time.
Can I use the acid free photo marker pen on the scrapbook pages?
The Marking Pen is designed for the back of the photo, allowing you to write on the back without smudging. If you were to use it on the scrapbook page it would bleed through the page. We do sell calligraphy pens that are specifically made for scrapbook pages.
Can albums be monogrammed or personalized
Most albums can be personalized with gold or silver stamping on the front cover. Personalization can be up to 3 lines with 20 characters/spaces per line. Matching self adhesive spine patches are also available for most albums. Stamping on the spine patch is available up to 2 lines with 7 characters/spaces per line. Traditional 3 character monograms are available on select brag books and photo envelopes. Individual item copy will state which options are available.
Do the oversize pages come in a double weight?
The oversize pages are already double weight for better durability.
How do the photo safe Stick-em Squares and Corners work?
Simply peel them off the backing and use as you would a piece of tape.
How long will it take to receive an album that is being monogrammed or personalized?
Please allow 5 days for in-house processing on monogrammed or personalized items. Delivery usually takes between 5 and 7 business days.
How many pages are in set of photo safe pages?
All pages, unless noted, come in a set of 10.
How many pages will an album hold?
Most standard and oversize albums will hold about 50 pocket pages, sheet protectors or scrapbook pages. The extra capacity albums can hold form 75 to 100 pocket pages, sheet protectors or scrapbook pages depending on the specific album, type of pages chosen and objects being mounted.
If I order a monogrammed album and find I don't like it can it be returned?
Yes, with any item, if you're not satisfied you can return it for exchange or refund.
If I order an album without monogramming, can I send it back at a later date to get it monogrammed?
Monogramming on the front cover would have to be done at the time of purchase. However, if spine patches are available for that album you could order those or our engravable plaques at a later date.
What is meant by acid free and how does this help preserve my photos?
Acid is an element found in paper and some plastic products which can, overtime, eat away and cause photos to fade. The acid in all our pages, Shoe Box Photo Files and photo mats has been neutralized or eliminated therefore making them safe for the long term storage of your photos.
What is the difference between bonded and top grain leather?
Top grain leather, as in our Presidential Leather albums, is made up of one continuous piece of leather from the outside layer of the hide and is considered the finest leather. Bonded leather is small bits from different pieces that have been pulverized then bound together. We also carry several simulated leather albums.
What is the difference between single and double weight pocket pages?
The double weight pages are a bit more durable and are recommended if your album is going to get a lot of use.
What mounting adhesive is best for my photos?
All our adhesives are safe for your photos; which type you use depends mostly on your personal needs and preferences. If you're looking for ease of use then the Stick-em Squares are a good choice. They're very easy to use and not overly time consuming. We recommend using these to adhere newspaper clippings as well. If you think you might want to remove your photos in the future then you should use the archival glue or any of the photo corners. The glue stick can be used for temporary or permanent use depending on application.
What's the difference between a ring binder and bound album?
The ring style albums are similar to a loose leaf notebook. Pages can be added or removed at anytime from any location in the album. The bound albums or scrapbook albums are bound at the edge just like a book. They come with all their pages and pages cannot be removed. We also carry the post bound style album which also allows you to remove pages. The pages are held in place with screw posts that go through the pages and cover.
What's the difference between sheet protector pages, magnetic page and scrapbook pages?
Magnetic pages have a self adhesive backing and recommended for about 15 years of storage. Both the scrapbook and sheet protector styles require an adhesive to hold your memorabilia in place. Scrapbook pages have interleaving tissue between, the sheet protectors have a protective mylar which folds over the entire page.

Yes, all of our decorative Shoe Box® Photo Files are acid free. The "Original" Shoe Box® Photo Files are acid and lignin free. Lignin is an element in wood pulp that over time can cause acid to develop. This being removed from the "Original" Shoe Box® Photo File makes them of the highest archival quality.
How many photos can a Shoe Box® Photo Files hold?
The Shoe Box® Photo File can hold up to 1,000 photos.
How many storage envelopes will I need for a Shoe Box® Photo File?
Each envelope can hold up to 36 photos. Each Shoe Box® Photo File comes with 24 envelopes which are also sold separately.
What size photos do the Shoe Box® Photo Files hold?
The Shoe Box® Photo Files are designed to fit photos up to 4x7. There are special sized storage boxes to hold larger items.

Are the frame mats interchangeable?
Each frame is sold with one mat design only as shown in the catalog. However all mats are removable and can be replaced with any mat you might find in your area.
Can all frames be hung horizontally or vertically?
If a frame can only be hung a particular way it will be stated in the item description. If you see an H/V in the description that means it has hanging hardware to hang either way.
Do all frames come with glass?
Most frames contain glass; some oversize frames contain Plexiglas or other acrylic materials to avoid damage. UV glass is not available.

The natural colored ledges do have a wax finish on them. However they could easily be lightly sanded if you wish to paint them in the color of your choice.
How are ledges mounted on the wall?
Most Exposures display ledges use a sawtooth hanger (included) or is “keyhole” type mounting in openings on the back side of each ledge.

Products may be offered in one or several different typestyles. All typestyles available are listed when ordering and cannot be customized.
How long will it take to receive my personalized stationery after placing my order?
We need about 5 days to complete the personalization of your stationery. Delivery usually takes 7-10 business days.
What if I would like a sample of the stationery I am considering before I order?
We will gladly send out a sample of the stationery free of charge, please contact our customer service department.
What is the correct way to list a monogram?
For a married couple, the husband’s first initial should appear to the left of the last name initial. The wife’s first initial will appear on the right of the last name initial. For an individual’s monogram, the first initial should on the left hand side, the last name in the center, and the individual’s middle name would appear on the right on the last name initial.
What is the quality of paper being used in your stationery products?
We use 110 lb. cover stock for most of our note cards and 130 lb. cover stock for all of our correspondence cards. All of our designs are exclusive to Indigo and go through rigorous testing before we present them to you.
