Selecting the Right Type of Album

The first step to showing off your treasured photos? Choosing the right type of album. Exposures offers five album types to help you create the perfect display: 3-Ring, Extra-Capacity, Oversized, Memo and Scrapbook.

You’ll want to select an album type based on the number, size and subjects of your photos. Some Exposures albums are available in multiple formats, giving you display flexibility and a stylish coordinated look.

3-Ring Albums

A 3-ring album is a classic choice. Usually about 11 inches in size, most hold up to 40 pages and can display as many as 400 photos, depending on the page layout you choose.

Often, people devote a 3-ring album to a single subject, such as one Christmas or a summer vacation. Cover personalization and spine patches make it easy to identify what’s inside.

Extra-Capacity Albums

An extra-capacity album is deeper, has wider rings and holds more pages than a standard 3-ring album. Some extra-capacity albums, including our Presidential Extra-Capacity Album, hold as many as 80 pages and can display up to 800 photos.

Extra-capacity albums are wonderful for holding large collections of photos you’d like to display together, such as photos of Christmases through the years, extended trips, life stories and more.

Oversized

Our 4-ring oversized albums have larger overall dimensions than our other albums. Usually about 15 inches in size, they’re perfect for large photos and other memorabilia such as certificates and awards that won’t fit in regular albums.

Oversized albums such as the Exeter Oversized Album hold up to 40 extra-large pages, in your choice of page layouts including photo pockets, protector pages and panoramic pages.

Memo

Each photo tells a story, so why shouldn’t your album? Memo albums, including our popular Shelbourne Memo Album, let you write captions next to each photo on pages that are bound into the album.

Most memo albums hold 200 to 300 photos, perfect for displaying your favorite photos of a party, weekend getaway or special holiday.
