Comments about Personalized Vertical Photo Ornament:
I am sorry that product control has not paid attention to other reviewers who have also complained about how dark and disappointing these ornaments have become. I have purchased many over the years, and for the last 2 years there has been a significant deterioration in the product. Whatever was changed, was not for the BETTER.Again, the photo is difficult to see...the color is not right, etc.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I read the complaints, but I have none! It more than met my expectations and I know my family will be thrilled with these ornaments! I had to make a change and they went above and beyond to take care of my mistake! Thanks, Exposures for the most unique gift under the tree!

I first received these photo ornaments in 2000 of my children as babies from my sister. I love them, they are the first ornaments that are placed on the tree. When my first grandson arrived in 2005, I ordered one for myself and 4 more as gifts to his mom, grandmother and great grandmothers. I now have 8 grandchildren in all. For each , I have ordered several for their families. I wanted to order this ornament again for the newest grandchild. I have to say that I was very disappointed in the preview of the order. I called Exposures and spoke to a wonderful customer service rep, Julie, who explained that the finish has changed and was to have a vintage look. I wish you would return to the former look. Maybe you can offer options for the finished product.I am on the fence about ordering this ......
What happened to the quality

I used to buy this ornament every year as a keepsake for my children, and it was always my favorite. I buy picture ornaments from many places and yours was the best. About two or three years ago something happened and the quality changed dramatically. I am no longer purchasing this ornament. I would pay more for it if you would return the wonderful quality. What a bad decision by someone there.
Variations in quality

I made my first order in November which promptly arrived. I was pleased with the photo ornaments, however the ribbon was cheap and I replaced it. My second order was December 3 and arrived on Dec 24. Granted, it arrived by Christmas, but it was a gift that I needed earlier and ordered it based on the stated website delivery timeline. The December 3 order had a big thumb print at the top of the photo. It was a gift for a friend who purchased her first house and I was very disappointed with the quality, the timeline and the fact that the ribbon was backwards and the star was on the back of the ribbon!! I had to cut the ribbon off and replace it to give the gift. I bought a ribbon that I could use to try and cover the thumbprint! Very disappointing.

I love Exposures Online, and each year purchase the annual Christmas picture frame, and one of these personalized photo ornaments for each of my two daughters. I usually love these ornaments and use them as a keepsake each year. This year, Exposures added an irridescent overlay to the image, and I'm not crazy about this change. Please go back to the original images without this irridescence. It takes away from the image.
A lovely family tradition!

Every year we have our family Christmas card put on one of these ornaments. It is so much fun to see how our family has grown and grown up over the year. This will be our 13th ornament. I hope they never discontinue them.
I purchased some tin ornaments as gifts a few years ago. Went with this type this year because I thought they were similar.....they are not! The tin is so much nicer and a better size and material. I think these are extremely big for an ornament. They may look like metal in the photo but pretty sure they are plastic. Will not be using the ornaments or giving as gifts. To me they look cheaper than the tin even though the tin ornaments are less expensive.
